application, you can download and print the Aadhaar card by using the Aadhaar
card number or enrolment ID provided by the UIDAI.

The Unique Identity Authority of India has
provided 4 different ways to download Aadhaar card online and check Aadhaar
status. This is known as an e-Aadhaar, and this file can be accessed by the
first four words of your name in capital letters and your birth year as a
password.

Download
Aadhaar card using Aadhaar Number
You can follow these mentioned steps in order
to download your Aadhaar card using your registered mobile and Aadhaar number.
- Log
in to official website of UIDAI - uidai.gov.in.
- Locate
Aadhaar Online Services>Aadhaar Enrolment>Select Download Aadhaar
option.
- Choose
‘Download your Aadhaar’ under the section ‘Enter your Personal Details’.
- Enter
the Aadhaar Number, Full Name, Pin Code and Security Code.
- Select
‘Request OTP’ to receive the 6-digit number on your mobile no.
- Enter
the 6-digit OTP
- Now,
click on the ‘Download Aadhaar’ tab.
- It
will automatically get downloaded to your saved files.
Download
Aadhaar card using VID
VID refers to the Virtual-ID. Follow these
mentioned steps to download your Aadhaar card
using your VID online.
- Go
to the official website of UIDAI -
uidai.gov.in.
- Locate
Aadhaar Online Services>Aadhaar Enrolment>Select Download Aadhaar
option.
- Choose
‘Download your Aadhaar via VID’ under the section ‘Enter your Personal
Details’.
- Enter
the Enrolment Id/Aadhaar Number/VID, Full Name, Pin Code and Security
Code.
- Select
‘Request OTP’ to receive the 6-digit number on your mobile no.
- Enter
the 6-digit OTP.
- Now,
click on the ‘Download Aadhaar’ tab.
Download
Aadhaar card using EID
The EID is your enrolment number. If you have
not received your physical Aadhaar card, you can select this option for
downloading your e-Aadhaar.
- Go
to the official website of UIDAI - uidai.gov.in.
- Locate
Aadhaar Online Services>Aadhaar Enrolment>Select Download Aadhaar
option.
- Choose
‘Download your Aadhaar via EID’ under the section ‘Enter your Personal
Details’.
- Enter
the Enrolment Id/Aadhaar Number/VID, Full Name, Pin Code and Security
Code.
- Select
‘Request OTP’ to receive the 6-digit number on your mobile no.
- Enter
the 6-digit OTP and click on the ‘Download’ tab.
- Now,
you have successfully downloaded your e-Aadhaar.
Download
Aadhaar card using your Name and Date of Birth
In case you have lost your Aadhaar number or
enrolment ID, you can use this option to download your Aadhaar card online.
- Log
in to official website of UIDAI - uidai.gov.in.
- Locate
Aadhaar Online Services>Aadhaar Enrolment>Select Retrieve Lost
UID/EID.
- Select
one of the two options - Aadhaar Number (UID) or Enrolment Number (EID).
- Next,
enter your Full Name as per Aadhaar Card, Email Id, Mobile Number along
with the Security Code.
- Select
‘Send OTP’ to receive the 6-digit code on your mobile number.
- Submit
the OTP and you will be showcased your Aadhaar details.
- After
you have downloaded your e-Aadhaar, you can print the same and use it for
official purposes.

Once you have successfully received your
unique 12-digit Aadhaar number, it is advisable that you verify the same. This

- First,
go to the official website of UIDAI - uidai.gov.in.
- Select
‘Verify Aadhaar Number’ under the ‘Services’ section.
- Enter
your 12-digit unique Aadhaar number along with the Security Code.
- Now,
click on ‘Verify’ tab.
- Now,
the page will display your Aadhaar card status as per the UIDAI records.
